What is moissanite?
Moissanite is a brilliant, durable gemstone naturally found in meteorites, now lab-grown for fine jewelry. It has more fire and brilliance than a traditional diamond, ranks 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale, and costs a fraction of the price.
Is moissanite a real gemstone?
Yes. Moissanite is a real, certified gemstone — not a simulant. Every Stella Nera piece comes with an independent GRA certificate verifying authenticity, color, and clarity.
Will it pass a diamond tester?
Yes — most consumer diamond testers detect heat conductivity, which moissanite shares with diamond. This is one of moissanite's defining qualities and why it's considered the closest alternative to a diamond.
Does moissanite scratch or lose brilliance over time?
No. At 9.25 on the Mohs scale, moissanite is exceptionally hard. With proper care, it retains its brilliance indefinitely.
About the Settings
What metal are your pieces made of?
All Stella Nera pieces are crafted in S925 sterling silver, often plated in platinum or white gold for added durability and finish.
Will sterling silver tarnish?
Sterling silver naturally develops a patina over time. With proper care (see Care Instructions), tarnish is minimal and easily removed. The plating extends the life of the finish significantly.
Is the jewelry hypoallergenic?
Sterling silver is generally well tolerated, but some sensitive skin may react to trace metals in alloys. If you have known metal sensitivities, we recommend consulting a jeweler before purchase.
Orders & Shipping
How long until my order ships?
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days. Standard shipping takes 7–15 business days worldwide. See Shipping & Returns for full details.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide. Note that international orders may be subject to local customs fees and import duties, which are the responsibility of the buyer.
Can I track my order?
Yes — tracking information is sent via email once your order ships.
Returns & Exchanges
What's your return policy?
30 days from delivery. Item must be unworn, in original packaging, with the GRA certificate. Full details on the Refund Policy page.
What if my piece arrives damaged?
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos at alexmtzo571@gmail.com. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.
Can I exchange for a different size?
Yes, within the 30-day window. Email us first to coordinate — we'll guide you through the process.

Do you offer resizing?
We don't currently offer in-house resizing. For best results, measure carefully before ordering. If you need help, email us before purchasing.
